Through extensive training and field underwriting, he gained in-depth knowledge of the unique risks facing the auto repair industry. His expertise quickly expanded to include coverage for tow trucks, salvage yards, and independent auto dealers.

Recognized for his dedication, Brian earned the "Rookie of the Year" title in 2006 and went on to achieve Presidents Club status four out of the next five years. In 2011, Brian joined Pearl Insurance as a Regional Director, where he played a key role in launching their automotive garage liability program.

Over the next six years, he collaborated with top carriers, built new markets, and developed relationships with some of the most reputable garage liability providers in the nation. His success earned him Chairman’s Club honors and the title of the top Regional Director five out of six years.

Today, Brian Buck is the founder and owner of The Shop Insurance Guys—dedicated to providing expert garage liability insurance solutions for auto repair shops, dealers, mobile mechanics, and towing businesses across Texas and beyond.
